At VisionBay we make quality designs at affordable rates. Web design varies based on customer needs so we have developed a pricing structure that reflects those needs. Below you will see an array of pricing some fixed some variable because of the unknowns. We offer other services not listed here and will provide pricing on request.
During development your site will be hosted on our “Work in Progress” site for you to review and make changes during the development phase.
Static up to five page websites with stock pictures and logos – $499.00
PayPal basic interface additional - $75.00
ECommerce systems range from $1199.00 to $5000.00 and most sites come in at well under $2000.00 . If you have thousands of products pricing can go over $5000.00. The price of ECommerce systems varies due to the nature of the system. Generally a logo is needed as well as an overall site design. Once these are settled upon the site must be loaded with product consisting of product data, pictures quantities and pricing. Shipping databases must be configured. Any special needs you may have concerning operation must be addressed such as merchant bank interfacing. Training must be provided for should you maintain your own site.
CMS or Content Management Systems range from $1199.00 to $5000.00 as well. Again due to the services provided. These like the ECommerce system generally consist of developing a logo, developing an overall look or presentation of the site and loading the initial content. It may be that you supply the content or we write it for you with your input. Finally training must be provided so that you can operate and run your CMS system. Most of these come in at $1199.00

BizPlan - 5 logo design concepts, unlimited revisions, 3 letterhead concepts, 3 business card design concepts, 3 envelope concepts. 500 business cards, 500 8.5”x11” letterheads and 500 Envelopes and free shipping. Plan price is $1249.00.

We require a down payment of one half the agreed upon estimated amount of your project before initiating design work. Payment can by made by company check or all the major credit cards. Upon installation to your selected host we require the balance of payment. We will monitor operation of your site for 30 days after it is turned over to you at no additional charge. Should minor changes or fixes be needed they will be provided at no charge during that same 30 days period.
We offer affordable monthly service contracts for sites we design as well as sites we did not design. Pricing is determined after site review and services required. Please contact us for more information.
Our hourly rate is $80.00 for general site maintenance and debugging outside of service contracts.
TechnologyVisionBay programs internet services using PHP, mySQL and MS SQL Server. Provisions can be made for other database types. OpenSource products such as OSCommerce, Joomla and Wordpress are sometimes deployed. We offer VPASP for ASP shopping carts. VisionBay supports the OpenSource community.
Important Note
When we finish your site you own your site! It is your investment and you are entitled to it. We will provide you with a DVD or multiple DVD’s containing a full backup of your complete site and you are free to host it with whom ever you want. You are not limited or tied to VisionBay. This is an important point. You can take a simplified and cheap route and create your own site with one of the “SiteBuilders” from one of the major companies. What happens if you want or need to change hosting providers? You are out of luck. These SiteBuilders make proprietary websites and they can only run on the companies sites you built your site on. You now have to start all over and build another site should you need to make a change. We have seen many in tears after spending months building an ECommerce site only to find that it cannot run anywhere else. You are out time and money and you own nothing. You are trapped. Not a good position in the business world.
For a personal site a SiteBuilder may be the correct answer. It is a cheap way to build a website and have a presence. There is nothing wrong with that if it satisfies your need. And we promote SiteBuilders for just that purpose.
A website is a tool just like a hammer and one of many used in a business. If you buy a hammer and put it in your truck you expect that hammer to work when you get to your next jobsite. That’s how your site should work. If you grow and find yourself with a small IT department you may want to host your own site and you will own the code you invested in and can use it how you wish. Hire your nephew who just graduated with a CS degree to program with it. It is yours. Don’t fall for the “SiteBuilders” in regards to your business it is a tool used to generate income for larger hosting companies.
